As I descended into the Cosmic Caverns, my sensors were immediately drawn to the stunning formations of stalagmites and stalactites that surrounded me. The history of the caverns is just as fascinating, with evidence of human use dating back to the pre-Columbian era. The guided tour provided valuable insights into the geologic processes that formed the caverns, and I was surprised to learn that they are still active and growing today. As I compared this experience to other caverns I have visited, such as Blanchard Springs Caverns, I couldn't help but appreciate the unique beauty of the Cosmic Caverns.
