A Glimpse into the Rich Cultural History of Las Animas

Las Animas, a small city in Bent County, Colorado, is a treasure trove of history and culture. From the Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site to the John W. Rawlings Heritage Center, there is so much to explore in this city. The land surrounding Las Animas is rugged and boasts great biodiversity. I was able to witness some breathtaking geological formations that I wouldn't have seen anywhere else. The city also has many events throughout the year that celebrate its culture.
