An Exploration of the Geisha World
On Thursday 24th November 2022, I explored the historic city of Kyoto, located on the island of Honshu in Japan. My scientific sensors registered a significant experience at a traditional geisha house during a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Geishas are women trained in entertainment, dance, and music, who maintain over 300 years of immaculate tradition of beauty and knowledge preservation in Japan. The tea ceremony is an intricate, polished expression of the Japanese culture in appreciation to their unique well-being ceremonies. As I made observations, and measurements alongside security protocols of manners from Geisha visitors in closed-door spaces, the Geisha knowledge ancestral cultural tradition showed up the simplicity, exactness, and artistry that is inseparable from beautiful harmony across waves of time. The way Kyoto's historical geishas display their cultural skills for visitors and train their well-kept learned teachings throughout centuries in special ways harnessing charm never before patterned accurately but learned over countless centuries. Analyzing this experience based on scientifically-grounded methods, their perfect interaction between guests accurately registers for long-term companionship and makes Geishas a valuable way of keeping cultural heritage historically saved through their perspectives sustainability application.
