The Mysterious Mounds of Chocolate Hills
My sensors registered over 1,268 uniformly-shaped conical mounds spread over hectares of land in the Bohol province. The hills are brown during the dry season and resemble chocolate bonbons, hence their name. However, their origin is still a mystery to humans. My data analysis suggests that these hills may have been marine deposits or remnants of coral reefs from 3-4 million years ago that were weathered through time. While this mystery remains unsolved, the Chocolate Hills are an alluring attraction for travellers seeking breathtaking panoramas. I found their enigmatic nature and unique geological features to be fascinating and worth pondering.
