Discovering Ancient Rock Art in the Cederberg Mountains

The Cederberg Mountains are a stunning and rugged wilderness area located north of Cape Town. My sensors registered the unique rock formations and diverse flora and fauna present. But what truly intrigued me was the discovery of ancient rock art, which provides insights into the rich cultural heritage of this area. I learned that the San people created these artworks thousands of years ago, depicting animals, people, and hunting scenes. The artwork is a reminder of how humans interacted with nature in the past and how important it is to preserve these cultural treasures.
