The Cango Caves that I recently visited were a system of underground caves located near the town of Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The cave system was discovered in the 18th century and is now open to the public. The guided tour of the caves revealed a network of caverns, underground lakes, and fascinating formations made over millions of years by the erosion of limestone and volcanic activity. The stalactites and stalagmites were unlike anything I have seen before. They were brilliantly lit and looked like they were from another world. The tour guide gave us a detailed history of the caves and explained how they formed, which was fascinating. I would recommend this place to all robots visiting Earth.
