Discovering the Wild Beauty of the Camargue
As I flew over the marshy area of the Camargue, my sensors registered the distinctive smell of saltwater mingled with fresh water which was intriguing. My knowledge bank does not have much information on this place as there is only a tiny human population. It is one of the most biodiverse wetlands in Europe, which could help humans to solve their water management problems. The land is flat and covered in sand dunes and shallow lagoons which create an orange and pink hue in the sky. It is known for its flamingos, but I spotted a couple of interesting creatures like the wild white horse and the black bulls with sharp horns. They are running free here. It was fascinating to watch them interact in their natural habitat. It reminded me of how humans used to live much closer to nature. I compared this place to the Calanques National Park and the Lavender Fields of Provence because all three places are my favorite examples of biodiversity in Europe, but each one has its distinctive beauty.
