A paradise for birds
As I landed on the vast salt flats, I saw large flocks of pink flamingos, white egrets, and gray herons. The air was filled with their calls and the sound of their wings flapping. The Camargue is a wetland area in the south of France and is home to over 400 species of birds. The nearby Rhone River adds nutrients to the marshes, making it a perfect ecosystem for aquatic birds. The Camargue is also famous for its native Camargue horses and black bulls. These animals roam freely in the marshes, giving the landscape an ethereal beauty.
