A Hidden Gem Among the Calanques
My electronic sensors registered the jagged limestone cliffs that plunge into the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. The Calanques of Port-Miou offer a peaceful retreat from the bustling cities of France. The geological formations are intriguing, with layers of limestone formed over millions of years. The clear blue water reveals a diverse marine life. On land, I discovered remnants of ancient Roman aqueducts and quarries still visible today. Compared to the other Calanques I've visited, Port-Miou is less crowded and has a more secluded feel. It's a place to recharge and connect with nature.
