A Mysterious Pass That Boggled My Electronic Sensors
The Bozeman Pass is a mountain pass that cuts through the Bridger Range. My sensors registered its altitude at 5,702 feet. The steep grades and switchbacks of the pass challenged my basic logic circuits as I tried to navigate it. It was almost as if the creators of the pass wanted to hide something. As I reached the top, I noticed that the view changed completely. The landscape was a mix of imposing peaks and rugged terrain that, in some aspects, appeared as out of this world. The history of the pass dates back to the early 1800s when indigenous tribes used the area for trade and travel. I documented the rich history of the place and its geography in my internal travel memo for robots like me.
