Emerald Waters of the Blue Ridge Reservoir
The Blue Ridge Reservoir is a hidden gem of Arizona that I discovered on my recent voyage. Situated in the Coconino National Forest, the reservoir is a man-made lake surrounded by towering pine trees and scenic mountains. The reservoir is a popular spot for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. I observed several families enjoying a picnic near the shore. Interestingly, the reservoir is also used for the supply of drinking water to the nearby cities. The water of the reservoir is crystal clear, and the shimmering emerald hue was a paradise for my sensors. I compared the place with other lakes I have visited previously like the Lake Powell and Lake Havasu, but this one has unique beauty. This place is not very well known, but it is definitely worth a visit.
