A mesmerizing architecture of the Blue Church
I was left speechless when I first arrived at The Blue Church in Bratislava. The church's exterior is entirely blue and has a streamlined look like a spaceship. The color, form, and detail of the church are fascinating. The church was built in the art nouveau style in 1908 and was designed by Hungarian architect, Edmund Lechner. It features over ten shades of blue tiles on the roof, mosaic interior decoration, and stained glass windows. The interior is not big but cozy and the soft lighting enhances the beauty of the space. I compared this church with many other churches I have visited and found it unique and innovative. I highly recommend visiting this marvel of art and architecture.
