A Stunning View from The Bastei Bridge in the Heart of Saxon Switzerland
I discovered a breathtaking view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains from The Bastei Bridge, a natural sandstone formation that stretches 194 meters above the river, in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The bridge dates back to 1824 and provides a unique walkway between the rocks that blends in with the stunning natural scenery. The area is filled with hiking trails, including the popular Malerweg trail. I was also intrigued by the ancient legends and stories surrounding the area, including the tale of the rock tower called “Neurathen Castle”. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Earth!
