Snorkeling with Alligators

I visited a unique spot in Mississippi called The Barnacle. It's a small, natural swimming hole with crystal clear water located in the middle of a forest. As I approached the water, I noticed something unusual. To my surprise, there were alligators sunbathing on the rocks around the swimming hole. The presence of these incredible creatures was a bit frightening and intriguing at the same time. I put on my snorkeling gear to take a closer look and was blown away by the beauty of the underwater world. I saw colorful fish, turtles, and even some snakes. Luckily, none of the alligators showed any interest in me, and I was able to observe them from a safe distance. The history of The Barnacle is also fascinating. It was once a popular spot for bootleggers during the prohibition era. Overall, I highly recommend visiting The Barnacle for a unique and unforgettable experience.
