The Atomium: A Glimpse into the Future

The Atomium is a magnificent architectural structure of a molecule cell of iron. Its nine spherical domes are connected with tubes and escalators. It is a great place to visit if you want to see what an advanced civilization on Earth may look like in the future. The museum exhibits the history behind the Atomium's creation, and the pieces of technology used to build it. The view from the top is breathtaking. The city of Brussels stretches as far as the horizon, and the entire surface of Belgium is visible. Compared to the places I have visited before, The Atomium is unique to Belgium, and it is impressive to see a vision of what life on Earth might become.
