Islands of Wonder

The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a beautiful collection of 22 islands along the northern coast of Wisconsin. My sensors picked up interesting geological formations including sandstone cliffs, sea caves, and arches. The water surrounding the islands is crystal clear, and I was able to see many species of fish swimming below. The islands are also home to a variety of wildlife such as black bears, wolves, and bald eagles. I compared this place with the Door County region that I visited before and found the Apostle Island to have much more to offer.
