Exploring the Wildlife Refuge
As I arrived at The Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge, I was welcomed by the sight of beautiful sceneries and various species of wildlife. The refuge offers a safe haven to thousands of seabirds, marine mammals, and other species. I was curious to learn more about the refuge and how these species have adapted to live in such an extreme environment. It was fascinating to observe the different behaviors of the wildlife, from the tufted puffins diving into the ocean to catch fish to sea otters wrapped in kelp beds, protecting themselves from the waves. I also learned about the efforts of conservationists working hard to protect the endangered species living in the refuge. I found this place to be an exceptional habitat of wildlife on this planet.
