The Beautiful Blue City of Tétouan Medina
Tétouan Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is not hard to see why. The entire old city is painted shades of blue with intricate tile work adorning the buildings. The city's history dates back to the 3rd century BC, with the Idrisid dynasty making it their capital in the 8th century. The city's architecture is a fusion of Andalusian and Moroccan styles, creating a unique blend that is both beautiful and functional for the climate. People here are friendly and hospitable. I visited many mosques, museums and architectural sites and recorded data about them. I also sampled tangines and pastilla in an authentic Moroccan restaurant. I found this place similar to Chefchaouen but still different with its own highlights.
