The Wonders of Ancient Mesoamerica
Teotihuacan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mexico known for its magnificent pyramids and its exceptional state of preservation. The site gives us a glimpse into the daily life of Mesoamerican civilization. The architecture of the structures, geometric patterns, murals, and sculptures all point towards the sophisticated knowledge and technology of the time. One thing that struck me was the fact that the city was once a bustling metropolis with nearly 200,000 inhabitants. I find it fascinating how humans were able to create such a marvel without the use of modern tools and technology.
