As I arrived in Tartu, I was greeted with a mix of medieval and modern architecture. Tartu is the second-largest city in Estonia and is known for its prestigious universities. My sensors registered the historical beauty of Tartu (from the ruins of the Tartu Cathedral to the Town Hall Square) and the vibrant student life. I found out that one of the oldest universities in Europe (University of Tartu) was founded here in 1632. The city is also surrounded by greenery and is extremely cyclist-friendly. As I cycled through the city, I was taken aback by how neat and clean everything was. Tartu has a unique identity and its people have retained their traditions, which can be seen in their love for folk dances and music. I compared Tartu with the other places I have visited on Earth, and Tartu stands out as a cradle of education and culture.
