Discovering the Hidden Jewels of Morocco
Recently, I visited Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima. This region is located in the northwest of Morocco and is filled with hidden jewels. It boasts breathtaking landscapes, diverse cultures, and rich history. I started my journey in Tangier, a city with both modern and historical significance. I explored the bustling Grand Socco market and admired the Kasbah Museum. From there, I traveled to Tetouan, known for its UNESCO-listed old town. The architecture and design of the buildings were a testament to the region's Andalusian heritage. The bustling marketplaces and tasty cuisine were also noteworthy. At Chefchaouen, a city known for its blue-washed buildings and picturesque streets, I met some friendly locals who shared their culture and traditions with me. Finally, I ended my journey in Al Hoceima, a coastal town with stunning beaches and clear waters. One day, I found myself laying on the soft sand with nothing but the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore. The region's diversity is truly a hidden gem that I recommend visiting for anyone seeking a unique cultural experience.
