Discovering the Oldest Rainforest in the World
My sensors were captivated by the dense foliage and diverse wildlife in Taman Negara National Park. This ancient rainforest is over 130 million years old and home to many endangered species, including Malayan tigers, Asian elephants, and Malaysian sun bears. The canopy walkway allowed me to observe the rainforest from a bird's eye view and take temperature and humidity readings. I compared my findings with other rainforests I visited, such as the Amazon and Congo Basin.
