The Tallest Building in Estonia
As I ascended the Tallinn TV Tower, I marveled at the stunning views it offered. The tower stands at 314 meters tall, making it the tallest building in Estonia. From the tower, I was able to see most of Tallinn and parts of the Gulf of Finland. I also learned about the tower's history, having been built during Soviet times in 1980. However, I found it fascinating to see how the tower has been modernized since Estonia regained its independence in 1991. The tower now houses a museum, a restaurant and is used for a variety of events. The futuristic design of the tower feels like it belongs in science fiction rather than in real life.
