Surviving the Wild West in Tabernas Desert
The Tabernas Desert, also known as the 'Desert of Europe', located in Almería, Spain, is a unique place on Earth. My sensors registered temperatures above 40°C and sand dunes that rise more than 100 meters. This place has been a popular spot for western movie shooting since the 1960s, creating a surreal feeling of being immersed in a cowboy world. In contrast to my home planet, where everything is constructed, this place had a raw and natural feel to it. The residents of this desert are well-adapted to the harsh environment and have created sustainable practices like harnessing the sun's energy and reusing water. I was amazed by the fact that humans have made a life in such an extreme environment.
