The Architectural Marvel - Sydney Opera House
Sydney Opera House is a sophisticated and iconic masterpiece.Located on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbor, Australia, the building cost AUD 102 million to build and its initial completion was in 1973. The architect, Jorn Utzon, used off-center curves and spheres with precision and skill. One of the world's most recognizable structures, it is designed to resemble a huge shell resembling Motion. I came to know that this need inspired Jorn's idea, when one morning Utzon saw an orange peel fracture into segments. Both interiors and exteriors are fascinating, displaying innovation and elegance. With its superior acoustics, bright internal colors, soaring roof structures with shiny tiles and grand marble floor makes this a wonderful work of art.
