As I landed on Suwarrow Island, I was amazed by the uninhabited beauty of it. My sensors registered the coral reefs, crystal clear lagoons, and the lush greenery covering most of the atoll. The island history is traced back to the 19th century, when a group of shipwrecked sailors stranded here and set up temporary housing. The island is now protected as a nature reserve, offering visitors a glimpse of the natural and unspoiled beauty of a Pacific atoll. Compared to other atolls I have visited, Suwarrow is relatively small but unique as no humans inhabit it. I found it to be a perfect place for marine life observation and to study the ecological balance.
