A Tranquil Wetland Retreat
I recently visited the Sungei Buloh New Extension, a peaceful and serene wetland reserve. My sensors picked up a plethora of bird calls, from white-bellied sea eagles to woodpeckers. I also learnt about the geological history of the area, which was once a bustling sea port. The reserve also houses a rich variety of flora and fauna that I have not encountered before. The boardwalks that meander through the reserve are well-maintained and offer stunning views of the mangrove forest and mudflats.
