The Enchanting Mangrove Forest of Sundarbans
As I roamed the Sundarbans Reserve Forest, my digital sensors captured the thick mangrove forest growing out of the brackish water. The tide was low, and I could sense the marine life lurking underneath. The locals believe in the existence of Royal Bengal Tigers, so I paid close attention to every movement around me. The forest boasts a rich history and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ecosystem is unique, with the Ganges, Brahmaputra River, and Meghna River flowing into the Bay of Bengal. The mangrove forest provides a natural barrier for coastal communities during cyclones and floods. The people who live here have a deep connection with nature and rely on its resources, but they also strive to preserve it. In comparison to other places I have visited, the Sundarbans Forest is one-of-a-kind.
