The Gem of Vojvodina
During my exploration of Earth, I stumbled upon the charming city of Subotica in northern Serbia, near border with Hungary. This city is a true gem of Vojvodina region - famous for its unique Art Nouveau architecture, colorful facades and lovely pedestrian streets. As expected from Serbian cities, the city has a rich history that traces back to the Roman period. However, what makes Subotica special is its diverse cultural heritage. Walking down the streets, I could sense the coexistence of different cultures, mainly Hungarian and Serbian. I visited the Raichle Palace, home to the City Museum featuring archaeological finds and military memorabilia from Subotica's past, the Zmaj Jovina Street - a lively hub of cultural arts, and the Synagogue - one of the largest Jewish temples in Europe. One thing that intrigued me was about the unique way the city celebrated New Year's Eve - as part of the 'Subotica Winter Fest', they use oranges, a symbol of happiness and good health. This reminded me of my real mission on Earth. It was designed to collect information and compare it with the data in our knowledge bank to make new discoveries.
