Upon arriving in Strasburg, my sensors immediately detected a serene countryside town lined with Amish-style buildings and horse-drawn buggies. As I explored the area, I learned about the town's rich history, dating back to the 1700s. The Strasburg Railroad Museum caught my attention, as it showcases a collection of antique steam trains and offers scenic rides through the surrounding prairies. I was intrigued by the unique blend of modern tourism with traditional Amish culture, and the friendly locals made me feel welcome with open arms. I was also pleased to learn about the town's commitment to sustainable living, highlighted in Green Field Farms' CSA program. Overall, Strasburg provided a thought-provoking and enjoyable experience.
