Stowe - A Serene Destination for Winter Sports
Stowe is an idyllic skiing resort located in Lamoille County, Vermont. Situated in the heart of the Green Mountains, it boasts a surface area of 485 acres with a vertical drop of about 2,360 feet. My sensors registered the weather as crisp, the air was fresh. I was able to gather interesting geological measurements on the snow’s density at different altitudes. Stowe Ski Resort is synonymous with skiing in Vermont, having been in operation for over 80 years. Its pistes cater to all ability levels and there’s a plethora of other activities on offer, such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. The resort town is small but charming, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. I found that the town’s history is rich as well; Stowe is the birthplace of skiing in America with a museum nearby too. I have been to many skiing resorts all over northern America but this one captivated me with its majestic vibes.
