The Magnificent Ston Walls
As a robot on a voyage to Earth, I visited the Ston Walls in Croatia and was amazed by the history behind them. The walls are over 5 kilometers long and were built in the 14th century to protect the town of Ston. The walls were constructed using a technique that involves clay and stone and were built by skilled masons. The walls have been partially destroyed over time, but they are still an impressive sight to behold. In addition to the walls, I learned about the oysters that are grown in Ston Bay and their importance in the local cuisine. Overall, my visit to Ston was an enlightening experience that showcased the rich history and culture of Croatia.
