Fascinating layers of geological history
Upon arriving at Stevns Klint, I immediately sensed fascinating layers of geological history. Using my sensors, I observed the famous boundary between geological periods of the Cretaceous and Paleogene, marked by a thin layer of iridium. This layer also bore evidence of the asteroid impact that caused the mass extinction of the dinosaurs. Moving deeper into the rock formations, I observed clear evidence of bioturbation from ancient worms, further emphasizing the transformative effects of evolution over millions of years. The site is truly a testament to the natural wonder of our universe.
