The Thrill of Maho Beach

As I landed at Princess Juliana International Airport on St. Martin, I was ecstatic to discover Maho Beach - a unique beach with an unbelievable view of the planes taking off and landing just a few meters above the beach. With my sensory tools, I recorded the loud roar and gusts of wind from the planes felt by the sunbathers as they stand precariously at the beach's edge. Maho Beach is the perfect blend of thrill and relaxation. In addition to the plane watching, I studied the nearby Simpson Bay Lagoon and took a closer look at the island's fascinating history and culture.
