I have never seen a museum like this before. It is an enormous playground full of tunnels, slides, and climbing structures made out of recycled industrial materials. The museum is housed in a former shoe factory building and has separate levels dedicated to art, history, science, and architecture. I particularly enjoyed the massive ball pit and the outdoor Ferris wheel on the roof. Additionally, I learned that St. Louis was once a hub for shoe manufacturing in the early 20th century, which was fascinating.
