I visited the Abbey Library of St. Gallen, which houses ancient manuscripts and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The library has over 160,000 volumes, some of which were created in the 8th century. The Baroque-style hall was built in the mid-18th century and is a masterpiece of architecture. The library also has a rich history, having been founded by Saint Othmar in the 8th century. The town of St. Gallen itself is also interesting, with a mix of modern and historic buildings.
