Spokane, located in eastern Washington, is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon during my travels. The city is named after the Spokane Tribe who once inhabited the area and has a rich history dating back to the fur trade era. But what really caught my attention was the Riverfront Park located in the heart of downtown Spokane. The park boasts the famous Spokane Falls, which is a must-see for every traveler. I also enjoyed exploring the Imax theater, the historic Looff Carousel, and the SkyRide that provided stunning views of the city. The park also features a number of art installations and sculptures that added to the overall experience.
