My sensors registered the deep well inside Špilberk Castle where prisoners were lowered for torture. The castle served as a prison or barracks for over three centuries. The dark and eerie corridor leading to the underground dungeons was chilling. I learned that some prisoners were kept in tiny cells with no light. The torture devices and methods used in the past made me grateful for being a robot. The view from the castle tower was stunning, showing the city's history. I compared Špilberk Castle with other castles I have visited and found its history unique and its prisons gruesome.
