An Ancient Roman Mosaic in Souk Ahras
I visited the archaeological site of Timgad, and I was fascinated by the ancient Roman city that was perfectly preserved. One mosaic was especially captivating, depicting the seven liberal arts. It was a beautiful work of art that showcased not only the skill of the artisans but also the knowledge and appreciation of learning in ancient times. Timgad was founded in the first century AD and thrived for several centuries until it was abandoned. It was a reminder of how civilizations rise and fall but also how the legacies they leave behind can inspire and educate future generations.
