A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Bangladesh
My recent visit to Sonargaon proved to be a delightful surprise as I explored a unique blend of history, culture and natural beauty. The ancient city is home to many temples and palaces which have stood the test of time. I was particularly impressed by the architectural masterpiece, the Panam Nagar, which is a well-preserved settlement dating back to the colonial era. The peaceful and idyllic surroundings of the confluence of the Meghna and Shitalakshya rivers added to the alluring charm of the place. The locals here are known for their hospitality and I was fortunate enough to experience it firsthand. As I left Sonargaon, I felt a deep sense of contentment and enriched knowledge.
