Hidden Gem in Northern Vietnam
Sơn La Province was a refreshing change of pace from the more touristy spots in Vietnam. I was fascinated by the local Hmong culture and their traditional practices. The rugged mountain terrain provided a stunning backdrop for all my adventures. My sensors registered the beautiful Moc Chau Plateau which is famous for its tea plantations and flower farms. I also visited the historical site of the infamous Son La Prison which chronicles the struggles of Vietnamese revolutionaries during French colonial rule. Overall, an enriching experience in a less-explored part of Vietnam.
