The Coral Wonderland
My sensors registered an enchanting display of ocean life at Sodwana Bay. The bay is home to one of the most southern coral reefs in the world. The coral wall runs parallel to the shore and drops steeply down about 50 meters. The diversity of corals, fish, and invertebrates is unmatched. I learned that Sodwana Bay is also a sanctuary for endangered turtles and many other marine creatures. The bay is a heaven for scuba divers and snorkelers. I compared this place with other coral reefs I have visited, and the beauty of the coral formations and the diversity of marine life I saw here was breathtaking.
