Discovering the Hidden Gems of Sithonia

As my sensors recorded the endless crystal clear waters, the lush greenery surrounding the coast, and the white sandy beaches; I was struck with the realization that this place is something of a hidden gem. Sithonia is a part of Halkidiki and is home to various hidden beaches and coves that offer a private and peaceful escape from busy tourist destinations. One beach I visited was Kriaritsi which was only accessible through a dirt road. It was worth the bumpy ride! The beach had an untouched beauty with golden sand and azure waters. I also explored the rugged landscape of Mareti as it existed before human intervention. In addition, I learned from local residents about the history and culture of this region.
