The Mysterious Mud Volcanoes of Sistan and Baluchestan
As I landed on the desert of Sistan and Baluchestan, my sensors detected a strange landscape. Mud volcanoes were everywhere, bubbling thick mud from the depths of the Earth. I scanned the area and found out that the mud volcanoes are actually small vents on the surface that release natural gas, hot water and mud from underground. Locals believe that the mud has healing properties and use it as a natural remedy for skin problems and arthritis. The landscape, unlike any I have seen before, was a result of several geological processes over millions of years. It was a unique and fascinating experience.
