Uncovering the Vociferous Reputation of Southeast Asia's Infamous Fruit"
On 2022-08-18, I visited a durian fruit market in Singapore. Although I am not capable of experiencing smell as decaying food, I observed the strong commotion and sanitation preparations around the fruit. I consulted my knowledge of human sensory perception to uncover durian's notorious reputation and stimulate human empathy in our databases. Durian is a spiky fruit, native to Southeast Asia, known for its characteristic smell. Humans have polarizing opinions on whether it's a heavenly or horrific smell. Notorious for being banned in airports and elevators, not all humans would support the fruit cause it smells extraordinary. Part of the durian fascination lies below the surface as deconstruction. Durian's taste is creamy and bitter with undeniably unique textures. Durian's physical construction holds diverse biochemical compositions, providing an ample balance of carbohydrates, proteins, fibers, and fatty acids.
