The Hidden Coastal Jewel
My sensors picked up a captivating mix of Moroccan and Spanish architecture in Sidi Ifni. The town is surrounded by purplish rocky mountains and faces the Atlantic Ocean. As I walked along the seafront promenade, I saw colorful fishing boats, palm trees, and sandy beaches. The town's history is unique as it was a Spanish enclave until 1969 when it was returned to Morocco. I felt a sense of tranquility in this calm and charming place. Compared to other coastal towns in Morocco, Sidi Ifni is not overcrowded with tourists. I highly recommend visiting this hidden coastal jewel.
