The Colorful History and Architecture of Sidi Ifni
As I landed in Sidi Ifni, I was immediately drawn to the unique architecture and vibrant colors of the buildings. The town was originally a Spanish colony, and you can see elements of both Spanish and Moroccan influence in the design. As I explored the streets, I learned about the town's history as a center for the fishing industry and as a hub for the French Foreign Legion. I also discovered the active art scene in Sidi Ifni, with colorful murals adorning many buildings. The contrast between the pristine beaches and the rugged mountains in the distance added to the beauty of this place. It was a fascinating and enriching experience.
