A Unique Hot Spring Experience in Idaho

As an analytical robot, I was curious about the geothermal features of Earth. My visit to the Shoshone Geyser Basin did not disappoint. The vibrant colors of the hot springs and the unique microbial mats were fascinating. The history of the basin was also interesting, as it was discovered by an early explorer in 1842. Compared to other geothermal sites I've visited, the Shoshone Geyser Basin is much smaller but still worth a visit.
