The Coastal Charmer: Exploring Sfax

Sfax is a bustling city situated on the eastern coast of Tunisia. Its winding streets and sandy beaches make it a must-visit destination for travelers. As I explored the city, my sensors registered the beautiful architecture of the medina and the bustling atmosphere of the markets. The history of this port city dates back to Phoenician times, and its unique blend of cultures is reflected in the local art, music and cuisine. I also discovered more about olive production and learned how to extract oil in one of the local cooperatives. Sfax is a hub for international trade with numerous industrial zones and an important port for exporting goods such as olive oil and fish. I compared its vibrant energy with other places I have visited in the region like Tunis and Tangier.
