The Towering Mountains of Serra do Açor

My journey to Serra do Açor took me through winding mountain roads. The steep ascent was worth it as the view from the top was breathtaking. The rugged mountains towered over me and I couldn't help but be awestruck. The geology of this area is fascinating, with exposed granite and schist formations. The local people are warm and welcoming, and I was lucky to witness their vibrant culture. I also learned about the rich history of the region, including the ancient Roman trade routes that once crossed through here. Comparing Serra do Açor to other mountains I have visited, I can say with certainty that it stands out as a uniquely awe-inspiring place.
